Playing a Kitten Survival Game with Official Jev and Local Laya Models
The author built a kitten survival game where the official Jev and local Laya (mlx) models each choose every step to protect the kitten. Across three levels tested three times each, official Jev cleared 3/9 runs (all from the food-finding level), while local Laya cleared 0/9. The takeaway: Jev is more accurate but slower, Laya is extremely fast but inaccurate.
